Sail Simulator is a free learning tool. It has no accounts, no sign-up and no advertising. This page explains the little data that is used, and the choices you have.

Legal basis
We use Google Analytics on the basis of our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used, so that we can improve it (EU/UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f), and the equivalent provisions of other applicable data protection laws, such as Turkey's KVKK). Server logs are kept on the basis of our legitimate interest in running a secure, working website. You can object to analytics at any time, as described under "Cookies" above and "Your rights" below.
Google as a service provider
Google Analytics is provided by Google, which may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store full IP addresses. Event data is kept for 14 months. Advertising features and Google signals are not used.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data, to object to or restrict its use, and to object to analytics. To use these rights, contact us at the address above. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
